The page-primary cohort is the single-item subset — 296 logs (157 unique members) where Special K was eaten without other foods — which produces a mean peak of +37.1 mg/dL (median +33 mg/dL, IQR: p25 +22.8, p75 +49.0). The broader 1,212-log cohort is used for modifier-pair analysis, where larger N is needed for each swap subgroup. Data was filtered to meals with a measured glucose rise between 0 and 100 mg/dL (ppgr_case='regular') to exclude outliers and sensor artifacts. Statistical comparisons use Welch's t-test on matched pairs; all modifier effects cited carry p<0.001 unless noted. Special K logs were identified via regex matching on the canonical brand name. A minimum of 30 matched meals is required for any pairing to appear in the recipe builder.
